South West Commercial Finance Limited was established by Richard Hounsell ACIB, originally as South West Business Finance Limited in 2003.

Richard was a Corporate Credit Director with Barclays Bank and has over 25 years of business finance experience. He was responsible for sanctioning large volumes of business lending during his career and has an extensive knowledge of all types of businesses.

South West Commercial Finance is based in Frome, Somerset but has clients in many parts of England and Wales.

Working with Richard are two Associate Brokers

Roger Batty, who is based in Gloucestershire, gained his experience from a long career with Barclays Bank, where for the last 13 years he had a portfolio of mid sized corporate customers as their relationship manager. Roger is comfortable with all aspects of corporate and commercial finance

Angus Mansfield, who is based in Bristol, has recently joined the company as an associate broker. He has over 25 years experience with Barclays Bank and Allied Irish Bank in their Corporate Banking and Credit Teams, and latterly for Dunbar Bank where he covered the South West as their Regional Lending Manager, specialising in Property Funding
